Upload a Termbase

Upload a termbase when you want LanguageCheck to flag terminology inconsistencies.

Steps

  1. Open New check.
  2. Expand Add a termbase file.
  3. Upload an .xlsx termbase file.
  4. Wait while LanguageCheck imports terms.
  5. Review the preview of imported terms.
  6. If terms look wrong, close and re-upload. If they look correct, continue.

Notes and Limitations

The file must not include headers. Column 1 is the source term. Column 2 is the target term. If a term has multiple target synonyms, add each synonym in a separate column on the same row. If a term has multiple source synonyms, add each synonym in a separate row and repeat its target terms.
